Today on the Farm

Easton Farm Park is open every day until Sunday 12th September.

The park is open from 10:30 am to 6pm.

We offer daily pony rides, hug a bunny, meet Major, one of our big Suffolk Punch cart horses, pony and cart rides (and harnessing), meet the baby animals and much more.  Activities may change by season and the current list will always be outlined in the table below.  This schedule is not applicable during Farmers' Markets. 

Times during 2010 season are as follows:

1:00 pm    Family train rides
1:30           Corn Dolly Making £1.00 a go in the Barmy Barn

There are areas where you can get up close and personal with the animals in their pens, in particular the goats and lambs.Every day is exciting on the farm with new arrivals, different growth stages for the little ones. There is always a chance to learn something new.

 The Green Trail offers a chance to walk across the water meadows along the river Deben. It is a stunning and peaceful stroll, past some of our rare breed cattle and sheep. Sometimes you will be able to see swans sitting on their nest, a kingfisher flying by, or the resident herons that are living on the reservoir just the other side of the river.

There is also a whole host of flora to enjoy. In the Spring, enjoy the blossom and smell of the wild garlic that grows in profusion. During the summer, enjoy the peace and coolness of the shade and the water, while watching the fish scoot by.
