You have now entered the Easton Farm Park Animal World. Find out about what's new and what's not down on the farm.
We can't believe that autumn has come around again so fast on the farm. The pigs don't seem to realise that it is autumn and have kept breeding until just recently when we had a litter of 16 piglets from one sow! We are now planning our breeding for next spring and all the babies born through the spring are being weaned from their mothers. We have three Suffolk Punch mares in foal for next year. They are pregnant for 11 months so we have to keep a close eye on them and keep our fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy.
Get a hat on and come and take a ride on Honey or Buddy, our Shetland Ponies. Mum and Dad, do you remember learning to ride on Lucy? She has now retired but still lives with Honey and Buddy, making sure they behave!
Ben, the Cobb horse (also known as a gypsy horse) is beautiful and very friendly. He is so strong that he can pull the cart for the cart rides. Why not come and see for yourselves. He also has had a girlfriend this summer called Pupps. She is a brown and white cobb horse and she broke down her fence so she could be closer to Ben - that's lurrrrve!
We also have lots of gorgeous bunnies, including some unusual lionhead rabbits - see if you can see how they got their name!
There are lots of friendly animals on the farm and they lvoe to meet all the children when they come to visit.
