Sheep Sheering and Wool Spinning Weekend
A fantastic opportunity for youngsters to see how the winter coats from the ewes are removed, see the spinners and weavers transform it into clothing.
If you are planning to come along for a few events through the year why not buy a £40 season ticket, perfect for the children if accompanied by different adults at different times, mum and dad are not always available at the same time and it is perfect for grand parents.
Easton Farm Park gates open at 10.30am and closes at 5.30pm
During the peak rate opening times, the entry price includes half hourly activities, giving the youngsters new and exciting experiences.
Starting at 11am and finishing at 4.30pm.
Please be aware that some activities and timings may change.
11.00am Hug a Bunny – children simply love being able to hold the little animals
11.30am Pony & Cart Rides – All aboard for a trip around
12.00 noon The Barrel Bug – children ride around the farm in special modified barrel carts
1.00pm Family Train Ride – this is a chance for adults to take a trip around the farm with their children, on a modified trailer
12.30pm Meet the animals and Hug a Bunny – getting up close and personal to the animals is what a farm park is all about
1.30pm Meet the Suffolk Punch – standing next to an enormous Suffolk Punch is something special
2.00pm Pony Rides – we have a selection of ponies ideally suited for our young visitors
2.30pm The Barrel Bug – another chance for the children to ride around the farm
3.00pm Egg Collecting and Hold a chick – subject to nature taking it’s course!
3.30pm Family Train Ride – another chance for adults to take a trip around the farm with their children
4.00pm Meet the animals and Hug a Bunny – getting up close and personal to the animals is what a farm park is all about
Weather permitting there is also the opportunity to take a Tractor and Trailer Ride around the Green Trail
Also included in the entry price:
Outdoor adventure area – a great place to let off steam, swings, see-saws, places to climb over etc
Indoor soft play area – different areas assigned for different age groups, heated and safe for the little ones
Air canon adventure in the Barmy Barn – the children simply love the air canons, shooting soft balls in a secure area
Mini farm trail – visit the animal enclosures on the mini farm trail
Jumping air pillow – an enormous bouncy pillow, children prefer this to a trampoline. (Weather permitting for safety)
See the Victorian Dairy – a trip back in time – parents normally like this more than the children!
Explore the Green Trail – a pleasant walk through the pasture, woodland and alongside the river, where you can see the cattle, alpacas, sheep, goats, pigs and so much more (bring wellies if it’s wet).
